    0.50 cup roasted walnut oil
    0.33 cup balsamic vinegar
    1 tablespoon pure maple syrup, dark or amber
    2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 teaspoon salt
    0.50 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
    1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme, optional



    Puree oil, vinegar, maple syrup, Dijon, garlic, salt, pepper and thyme in a food processor, mini-prep, blender or with an immersion blender.
