My daughter’s favorite homemade pizza sauce

    Ingredients

    1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
    1 teaspoon red wine vinegar
    1 28 oz can whole peeled tomatoes
    1 large garlic clove
    1 teaspoon salt
    0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
    1 teaspoon granulated sugar
    1 teaspoon dried oregano

    Directions

    Drain tomatoes in a fine mesh strainer and place drained tomatoes into a blender, discarding drained liquid.
    Mark as complete
    2.

    Add the remaining ingredients and blend on high until completely combined about 30 seconds.
    Mark as complete

    Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
    Mark as complete

    Notes

    This makes enough sauce for (3) 14-inch pizzas. Makes about 1.5 cups of homemade sauce.
